Wright State Lake Baseball got out to an 8-run lead in the sixth inning and held on for a 12-11 victory over Edison State Chargers on Tuesday. Edison State Chargers closed the gap by scoring on a single, a ground out, a single, a ground out, a triple, and a ground out.

Both offenses were strong at the plate as Wright State Lake Baseball collected 12 hits and Edison State Chargers 16 in the high-scoring affair.

Edison State Chargers were the first to get on the board in the first when Stebbins singled, scoring two runs.

Neely earned the win for Wright State Lake Baseball. The pitcher gave up six hits and three runs (one earned) over three innings, striking out two and walking one. Wills took the loss for Edison State Chargers. The lefty went one and one-third innings, giving up nine runs on six hits, striking out one and walking three. Adkins started the game for Edison State Chargers. The starter gave up zero hits and zero runs over two innings, striking out three and walking two. Rasberry collected the save. Lacey, Grace, and Jump each appeared in relief for Wright State Lake Baseball.

Wright State Lake Baseball amassed 12 hits in the game. Bill provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Wright State Lake Baseball with three runs batted in.
