Laker Baseball 2-1 on Opening Weekend in Kentucky

Game 1-

Wright State Lake Baseball were victorious against ALICE LLOYD COLLEGE 5-2 on Friday.
Wright State Lake Baseball got on the board in the second inning after Heitkamp singled, scoring one run.
Rodriguez singled down the right field line, which helped ALICE LLOYD COLLEGE tie the game at one in the bottom of the third.
Wright State Lake Baseball took the lead in the top of the fourth. Barr homered to right field, scoring two runs, to give Wright State Lake Baseball the upper hand, 3-1.
Rasberry earned the win for Wright State Lake Baseball. The pitcher surrendered one hit and one run (zero earned) over five innings, striking out six and walking one. Flynn took the loss for ALICE LLOYD COLLEGE. Wright State Lake Baseball bested ALICE LLOYD COLLEGE 5-3 on Friday.
Wright State Lake Baseball were the first to get on the board in the fourth when Bill doubled, scoring one run.
ALICE LLOYD COLLEGE took the lead in the bottom of the fourth. Cole hit an inside the park home run, scoring two runs, to give ALICE LLOYD COLLEGE the edge, 2-1.
Wright State Lake Baseball jumped into the lead in the top of the sixth when Bill doubled, scoring one run, Sparks singled, scoring one run, and Kidd induced Maysonet to hit into a fielder's choice, but two runs scored.
Jump stepped on the mound first for Wright State Lake Baseball. The starting pitcher allowed four hits and three runs (two earned) over six innings, striking out three and walking two. Smith began the game for ALICE LLOYD COLLEGE. The right-handed pitcher gave up two hits and one run over five innings, striking out seven and walking two. Lacey tossed one inning of shutout ball for Wright State Lake Baseball in relief. Bats were blistered on Saturday, but Wright State Lake Baseball couldn't quite get the job done against ALICE LLOYD COLLEGE and lost 15-7. ALICE LLOYD COLLEGE collected 14 hits, while Wright State Lake Baseball had seven.
Wright State Lake Baseball opened the scoring in the first after Bill singled, scoring one run.
Wright State Lake Baseball added one run in the second after Grace singled to center field.
