The United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) has announced the 2021 Baseball All-Acadmic Team.  (June 10, 2021).  The USCAA's National All-Academic Award is designed to recognize all student-athletes (sophomores, juniors, and seniors at four-year institutions and sophomores at two-year institutions) who have a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 (on a 4.00 point system) or greater.

Wright State Lake Campus is excited to have four members of the Laker Baseball squad recognize as USCAA All-Academic Award recipients.  The three Wright State Lake Campus Student-Athletes recognize are Casey Grimm, Tanner Crowle, Sam Conklin and Nick Hundley.  

Casey Grimm, a Graduate Student in the Lake Campus MBA program, has a 3.5 GPA.  Casey is a Colerain HS graduate from Cincinnati Ohio. Casey, a left handed pitcher who pitch the only no hitter in Lake Campus history, is also a member of the 2021 USCAA 1st Team All-American Baseball Team and 2021 USCAA National Player of the Year.   

Tanner Crowle, is from Crestview HS, Convoy, Ohio. Tanner, a Left Handed Pitcher for the Lakers baseball team, graduated this past May from Wright State Lake Campus with a Bachelors Degree majoring in Middle Childhood Education.  He graduated with a stellar 3.83 GPA. Tanner is continuing his studies at Wright State University in the College of Health, Education and Human Services Graduate program.  This is Tanner's second USCAA All-Academic Award.  

Sam Conklin is a Sophomore Left Handed Pitcher and Outfield from Waterville, Ohio,  Anthony Wayne High School. Sam is majoring in Earth and Environmental Science with an outstanding and perfect 4.0 grade point average.  Sam has not received any grade below an "A" in any of his 22 classes. Perfect 4.0 GPA! 

Nick Hundley, is from Greenon HS, Enon, Ohio.  Nick is a sophomore  playing in his 1st baseball season at Wright State Lake Campus. Nick played catcher and 2nd base during the 2021 season.  Nick is majoring in Middle Childhood Education and has an outstanding 3.79 GPA.  Nick was second on the team in doubles, third on the team in hits and Home Runs and fifth on the team in RBI
